The staff here are extremely friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed our spacious twin room during our three-night stay.

The room, especially the bathroom, must be urgently repaired and overhauled. It's ancient, calcified and broken. In bed, the feathers creak with every movement. In front of the door there is a bell which cannot be clearly distinguished from a light switch.

Good location right by restaurants as well as the S-bahn station Mettmann Stadtwald, I felt safe. It was just a pleasant stroll away from Burgermarkt, serving fast food.

Although everything was perfect, some of the staff were very rude.

The Alte Fabrik in Mettmann exceeded my expectations with its spacious and modern rooms. The room had a large space, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment during my stay. I also appreciated the tea/coffee facilities in the room, which was a fantastic surprise. The hotel's database accurately described these features, making it easy for me to select a room that met my needs.

I was disappointed to find that the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Upon entering, I immediately noticed a toenail in the middle of the floor, and as I walked through the room with just my socks on, they quickly became dirty.

This hotel is a hidden gem. the location is perfect, with the tram station very near and just a short walk down the hill opposite, making it extremely convenient to explore the city. Secondly, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with very comfortable beds ensuring a good night's sleep. Lastly, the breakfast provided is excellent, offering a variety of options to start the day off right.
